Best Fresh Foundation
The Best Fresh Foundation was created from the passion and commitment of our employees, who have since been the driving force behind the foundation and its initiatives.
In 2010, a group of employees came up with the idea to create the Best Fresh Foundation, driven by a selfless desire to give back to the community. This is how the foundation was born and since its birth, we have been proud of the many initiatives we have set up together, all with a clear focus on social involvement and positive impact.
A selection from our approach:
- Activities: we organise activities to increase involvement and raise funds such as an annual golf tournament, pub quizzes and more.
- Products: we donate tasty and sustainably grown seasonal vegetables and fruit, such as apples for delicious apple pies baked by Blauwe Hek bakery
- Connection: we establish contacts between people and parties sharing the same vision
- Donations: we provide financial support to Stichting Jade and Support Casper for example

Our vision
The vision of Best Fresh Group is "choice of sustainably grown and tasty fruit and vegetables". A healthy diet is very important, for all of us. Unfortunately, the availability of sustainably grown fruit and vegetables is not always a given. This needs to change. That's why Best Fresh's (partner) companies have made having a choice of sustainably grown products the norm.
Our foundation shares this vision of course, yet we like to take it a step further than just health. "We believe that everyone in our immediate environment should be able to live in good health and enjoy a high standard of well-being."
